Good morning! Don't forget about the giveaway!
In my attempt to stretch myself, this next color is one of the few pinks I bought for myself instead of my daughter. It's Revlon's Popular. You may have noticed by now that I am also not much of a glitter person. I like the smaller glitters, just not a fan of the chunky, big glitters, which is why I don't own any Lynderellas. I know, I know...going against the trend. But I was against the crackle trend, too, and that's just my taste. Now, I do not own one crackle, but with this, I was really trying to stretch myself. That's a lot of stretching...pink and big glitter!
Now the glitter in this one is not even all that big compared to what's out there right now. However, I still have to say I'm still not a fan of the big glitters. I think I would have liked this color a lot better if it was just the small sparklies, but the larger round glitters are a bit too much for my taste. But it is a fun polish! I know my daughter will like it and I'm sure I'll pull it out for a fun girl's night out or something. What? It could happen.
I actually swatched this one before the lightbox. The formula was alright. It was pretty sheer and took a good 3 coats to get decent coverage. And I did have to play with the bigger glitter to get it placed. As for the color, it's a milky pink with silver glitter. I don't know....just not in love with it. And thanks to another overcast day, no sunny pics. Sorry!
SH Double Duty and SH Insta-Dri for base and top.

I don't know how I feel about the glitter being in the color like that yet, so far I have stuck to just the top coat glitter or candy mani look.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm just not that crazy about it. Kind of defeats the point of glitter, in my opinion.
