I'm Swatchin' You - Bath and Body Works Soft Yellow

Morning!  Have I told you lately how happy I am that you are here?  All 14 of you?!?  14!!!  Yay!!!

Here is another color from BBW.  I have a list of unfortunately's here:
Unfortunately, the sticker fell off the bottom, so I have no idea what the name is.  I'll call it Soft Yellow.
Unfortunately, I bought this because it looked like my favorite shade of yellow (kind of the light, pale yellow that was popular in the 50s - do you know what I mean?), but it wasn't quite right.
Unfortunately, I had the same problems with this as I did my other BBW color.  Kind of thick, kind of streaky, took 3 coats to look almost decent.  :o(
Bottom line:  I don't think I'll be rushing to BBW anytime soon for polish.  Granted, I know I bought these years ago, but still.  There was so much hope for these colors!
It's so sad when a polish (or in this case, two) completely let you down.  I'm going to go sulk.  As Linda Richman would say, "Talk amongst yourselves."

I'm Swatchin' You - Bath and Body Works Fire Dance

Happy Monday!  No blue today.  Maybe some fiery red will rev up your Monday!  Up next, a color by Bath and Body Works (BBW).  This one is called Fire Dance.  It is a very pretty color.  However, the formula was a bit wonky.  It wasn't exactly thick and it wasn't exactly streaky...it was a weird combination of the two.  It was really difficult to get it to cooperate, so I ended up with three coats.  I have only been using two coats of all the colors I have been swatching, but this just looked terrible (IMO) without the third coat.  It's unfortunate that it didn't work well because I really love the color.  Boo.
